will prevent 5,100lbs/yr of coal
from being burned, prevents
9,000lbs/yr of CO2 from going
into the atmosphere and over
3,000 gallons/yr of water from
being used to get the nasty
coal.

From 1941-1970 while working at
SWEPCO he helped bring electricity
to the Shreveport area and at the age
of 95 he is bringing electricity to his
own home! Mr. Claude Martin along
with his wife and daughter are the
latest to add solar power to their
home with a 2.66kw grid-tie system.
This system will prevent 5,426lbs/yr
of coal from being burned, prevents
9,576lbs of CO2 from going into the
atmosphere and over 3,415 gallons/yr
of water from being used to get the
coal.

This beautiful installation turned on
April 17th is a 4.56 pole mounted
system at the Newtown Horse Farm
in Benton. George and Barbara
Newtown are the owners of this
impressive grid-tie system that will
prevent 9,302lbs/yr of coal from
being burned, prevents 16,416lbs of
CO2 from going into the atmosphere
and over 5,855 gallons/yr of water
from being used to get the nasty coal.

From recycling to his Toyota
Prius,Robert Jordan has always
been a great steward of Gods
Creation. On June 2nd, he
added Solar Energy to his
environmental mission. Mr.
Jordan is the proud owner of a
3.024KW grid-tie system that
will prevent over 6,169lbs/yr of
coal from being burned,
prevents 10,886lbs of CO2 from
going into the atmosphere and
over 3,883 gallons/yr of water
from being used to get the
nasty coal.

Keeping with the Biedenharn
tradition of staying on top of new
ways of doing things, Sydney
installed this great 9kw Grid-tie
system at her home in Benton. The
Biedenharn system will prevent
18,360lbs/yr of coal from being
burned, prevents 32,400lbs/yr of
CO2 from going into the
atmosphere and over 11,556
gallons/yr of water from being used
to get the coal.

Beautiful 11kw Grid-Tie system on
Larry & Debbie Roberts home in Elm
Grove, LA. The system covers 75% of
the electricity on their 3,000sq.ft. log
cabin home. They are going to add
another 4.6kw of solar power this
year to reach 100%. The 15.6kw of
solar power is in addition to the
7.6kw of solar power that is on their
office located on the same propery.

Great 4.56kw Grid-tie system at Bob
& Claudette Martins home in
Longstreet, LA. The pole mounted
system covers about 45% of the
electrical needs of their home. The
Martin system will prevent
9,139lbs/yr of cola from being
burned, prevents 16,128lbs/yr of
CO2 from going into the atmosphere
and over 5,752 gallons/yr of water
from being used to get the coal.

Centenary College added this small but
effective 1.2kw Grid-tie system on top of
the library roof. The system will be online
this summer for production viewing. The
solar energy will help reduce the library's
electric bill at the same time teaching the
students about renewable energy.
One Planet Solar donated 75% of the
system cost.
Way to go Centenary!

last winter to their home
in Shreveport. The
20-Sharp 220 watt
modules will make a huge
dent in the electric bills of
this beautiful home.

The Shields family added this
3.6kw Grid-tie system to their
home in Shreveport. (the dish
has been moved!) The system
has a nice window of
production even though it is
located next to a tree line.

Elton & Patricia Crocker added this
4.6kw Grid-tie system to their
home just a block from the OPS
office in Grand Cane, LA. The
crocker's March 2010 Cleco bill
was $70.18 versus $186 in the
same month in 2009.

Mary Hughes continued her
care for God's Creation by
adding this 2kw system to her
art studio in Shreveport. The
small system actually covers
100% of the usage.

Mr. & Mrs. Schlatter added this 4kw Grid-tie
solar in the fall of 2009. The system has a
2kw array on the south roof and a 2kw
array on the west roof.
